I plan to start a "Clan". Go to this webpage and check it out yourself.
The Shadowclan
Basicaly it's a criminal organization. There is a form on the website. I'm gonna post this here incase you don't see it on the site:
Your Character That Wishes To Join MAY be in another guild! In fact I encourage it. This is because it's a undercover criminal and evil organization. ALSO: Your character must be of LE, NE, or CE alignment. AND SECTS ACCEPT NUETRAL FOLLOWERS (TN, CN, LN)
The Character doing this is Talan, Stormlord of Talos.
EDIT: Nuetral characters may join as well
The Sects: Alignments allowed

ALRIGHT PEOPLE I WANNA MAKE THIS CLEAR! I'm getting LOTS of people wanting to join but some don't even tell me their character name! I am thankful to the ones who filled out the form but PLEASE the rest of you.
Also, the memberlist page is now passworded. You will receive the password AND username upon acception of membership.

Those rules were established so there would be no conflict, and people wouldn't benefit from all of the guild items etc.
I doubt that they will have guild items in 3.x, so that's one problem gone, and they are SUPPOSED to be conflicting with other guilds, they're spies, so it NEEDS to be like that .
So I don't think there's any problem with multiple memberships.
