i think it's a good idea, for sometimes reading the falme section get's old...and depressing, going here would be good

I would agree with Uin here Marine. Please edit the second option to remove Uin's name. I don't like having negative comments associated with this postive topic.

Er...oookay....anywayz, I'm thinking that I never seem to have trouble giving praise and credit where it's due when I think it is, and I think that I see lots of others giving compliments without trouble, why a whole 'nother Forum just for them? If you want to really make a compliment stand out, start a new thread in Chatter, and let's see if we can keep it at the top of the list!!!

Alright, this exploded rather quickly. Arguing right off, calling of names.

Positive is outnumbered.

So, let's see if I can make something positive. Here's my shot:

A compliment forum would be good because it would allow us to dish out what we meant to say but couldn't word properly at the time that it needed to be worded. It would also be a good way to compliment people or go get some help if you're down for whatever reason you have to be down for. Compliments make people feel good, and the compliment forum would result in that. Making people feel good.

Now don't you want to feel good?

NOTE: I said POSITIVE, not CONSTRUCTIVE at the beginning.

I think I would fill it with
"Fooz is the man" or "Bri RULESSSSSS" topics really quickly. therefore, it would just stress out ( but make feel really good) the developers and/or fooz.

Hehe, you know, I feel really bad about posting my false opinion.

My real opinion is to not go for it, the chatter forum can hold more threads than every other forum combined, and since the Complaints, Rants and Flames forum is diverting 'angerfied' comments, compliments often arise.

Basically: Keep things how they are, the forum wouldn't be used.

Question 2.
Why do you compliment someone?

So they know that you appreciate their work.

Why do you need to show off your compliments to everyone else?

So you look like a ****ing ass kisser.

YOU DON'T NEED TO SHOW YOUR COMPLIMENTS TO OTHER PEOPLE! If you want to compliment someone, PM THEM! The only reason you would argue this is if you want yourself to look like an ass kisser in front of EVERYONE ELSE!

Emm well i think that most compliments kinda go unsaid

But when you take your time to think about dyso thy kinda go without saying (compliment to whoever were a part of making it)

Anyway if we were to have that,think of all the other useless stuff we'd be stuck with
