icon_confused.gif Umm...back on topic....I enjoy the new XP system.
I've played PnP D&D for a few years, and one of the many things I always looked forward to was the ability to level. Leveling shows the changes your character has made in his life, based upon the experiences he has encountered. Fighting monsters would be a huge life experience for anyone, your ability to defend yourself would increase over time.
Xp and Leveling is a part of the D&D game, it always has been and it always will be.
I dont speak for everyone and I know people will always have thier own views on this topic. It's just a part of the game icon_wink.gif .

Marine ...

You were "close" with Rumanos ... perhaps not perfect as you still had a tendency to do some stuff which wasn't all acceptable. Yet you did capture the essense of playing such a character and made it quite clear to all in game what your motivations were as well as being willing to talk OOC with players, moderators, and DMs concerning your plots. That degree of communication when you are a main aggitator goes a long way it getting people to accept what you are doing. I can put it this way ... when you had Rumanos at his most active I didn't see much talk from anyone about you being a player who was trying to grief anyone ... most people saw you as a player who was playing an insanely evil character. That is an important distinction.
