From the maps that Glith posted, it looks to me like Istar used to be right in the middle.
Then BLAMMO! The Mountain of Fire.
What's "D.R." stand for, anyway? _________________ "Great warrior? Ah! Wars not make one great!"

D.R. is short for Dale Reckoning. Commonly used calendar in a large part of the Forgotten Realms. |

Nice. A combination of 2 things from Tolkein.
Well, I guess we are really all playing in sandboxes modeled after his in one way or another. _________________ "Great warrior? Ah! Wars not make one great!"

When it comes to fantasy-genre, everything is in some way or another owed to JRRT. You just cannot get away from it ... that's where it started and still where much of the inspiration comes from. _________________ Envision something suitably witty here. |

I figure he would be Elrond
Rather neutral, but slightly to the good side. Also very calculative in his reasoning _________________ Former Rogue Squad Leader, Kravenwood Militia

I dont think Conrad is "mad-pissed-off" but rather very pragmatic, frank, and candid, not to mention blunt and unabated. I think I used the right words, but if not, just go with "cool" _________________ "Here comes Halfling death!" |

What a meaningful discussion. Talking about what LoTR character Conrad most symbolises. After that, we can discuss what handbag barbie should wear! You lot really are something else!
*ahem* I think he's a cross between gandalf and elrond.

didn't mean anything "bad" by "mad-pissed-off"... I was just imagining a Gandalf that says pretty much what's in his mind... direct and with no problem at all to slap you in the face if he thinks it's needed...
But yea.. I'd go with "cool-Gandalf"...
By the way, what handbag should Barbie wear this summer? Maybe something pink would be nice... (j/k here Griff) _________________ "Nothing that is beautiful in life is taken away with death" |

Ecovult, I was thinking pink too! It's my favorite color and I think barbie would look super and make Ken really jealous and feel as though he shouldn't have been screwing someone else behind barbie's back.
One thing about Conrad is he's an awesome area designer amongst other things. You should see some of the areas, they are really well thought-out.

Ken is gay, so i rather doubt he's jealous. He's just using barbie to appear straight but common it's pretty darn obvious...if anything it'll be ken parading with the pink handbag.
Now let's keep these barbie posts to another forum and not clutter this one up anymore... |

Do not meddle with the affairs of Conrad, because he is delicate and quick to anger.

Somehow I can picture Conrad at his computer reaching out his hand and choking out some players... _________________ "Here comes Halfling death!" |

I'd tried it a few times, it didn't seem to work as I wished ... too bad, the forums would be much easier reading if it had. |
