Is there any way to penalise a druid that uses heavy armour (wis decrease)? What are the penalties in DnD when a druid wears non-natural?  Reply with quote

Nothing. I dont play a druid char anymore, but Im pretty sure there are no penalities against a druid for using heavy armour in ad&d. Its not very rp, granted, but there are far more serious non-rp issues to worry about like people making stupid names, people picking classes just for the abilties, people with 8 Int and 8 Chr talking like they have 18 in both, and loads more as we know, etcetc

Dont think this is worth discussing yet.

Druids are proficient with the following weapons: club, dagger, dart, halspear, longspear, quarterstaff, scimitar, sickle, shortspear and sling. Their spiritual oaths prohibit them from using weapons other than these. They are proficient with light and medium armors but are prohibited from wearing metal armor (thus, they may wear only padded, leather, or hide armor) They are skilled with using shields but must use only wooden ones.

Now, if you find a non-metal heavy armor it's no problem icon_wink.gif
