I saw a fighter that was using a bastard sword that was doing magic damage each hit.

That isn't even listed in the toolset so I'm wondering how they did that.

Its a bonus for choosing the Tempus deity.
When you pray to Tempus with his ring, it grants to atk and magic dmg bonus.
Its not in a weapon however.

read the diety list, look for one thats implemented, put that diety in your deity box when you build your character, you should find the ring in your inv when you spawn on the boat.

Deity list isn't updated, some deities are implemented and not marked.

What Uin is talking about is a former faith token exploit. It no longer functions, so you can't run out and do it. There are plenty of people that still have them from before, though. I wouldn't get too upset about it. Gesh has already indicated that the dieties won't be in the next version.

And, if it makes you feel better...I can't get a faith token, either.

Faith tokens used to be put in the barter. you could put them in the barter menu and it would put an extra (duplicate) set in your inventory. I eventually had 100 faith tokens in my inv. it was really easy to do, and took very little time.

Heh... what I love is the time that Jon told me that he had 50 LEGAL faith tokens.... omg I couldn't stop laughing. I tell ya, what some peopel will do....

try praying every 5 minutes real time for 5 weeks playing a character to 20, you might actually get 50 legal tokens! all in the rolls...you can pray every 1 hour game time which is 5 minutes real time... to tell the truth it builds up very quickly, i already have 5 on valas...

nope, consistent prayer gets tokens, just takes a while, you have about (i think) a 1 in 20 chance of getting a token every prayer, or so it seems... maybe like on a 19-20 of a d20 roll.... seems very random...so do it alot and get some

Tempus bonus only works on melee? Or also on ranged weapon?

Tempus even works with shurikens.. which unfortunatly, are coded wrong.. man it'd be awesome if they were done right.. 3x 1d10 per attack.. hehe

hmmm...i pray to waukeen every other minute...and i dont know about any exploits or nuthin...but just tha other day i got my faith up to 20 tokens from 19, so mines still workin properly....GOooLD!!!!!!!!!
