| I'm looking for Code 39 and/or Code 128 (standard) True Type fonts. Does anyone know where to get these without forking over hundreds of dollars? All I can seem to find are non usable demos. |

Sure thing Mitch! Did a quick google search for ya and found the Type 39 for free!

I have found a lot of other sites where it is free other than the ones above. If you need more links let me know.
All of the 128's seem expensive and require additional programs to read and interpret. I will keep looking and let you know.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I'll give some of these a shot tomorrow. And I don't mind spending a hundred or so for the fonts, but some of the prices I was seeing (for the ability to print from Word/Excel with alpha/numeric characters,) was just ridiculous. I saw one that was near a grand!!!
I actually need these for work. We want to start printing out work orders/purchase orders/reports/etc, from Oracle, all nice and barcoded. And since our reports come out via PDF format, that'd be an easy way to do it, rather than getting barcode font chips for all of our printers (around 30 or so.) We also want to be able to reprint some things, without the people having to come to me and say "Mitch, when you get time, can you generate blah blah blah." With a TTF, this would be fairly simple, and an all-in-one solution. |
