I have a Cleric and I chose the Empower Feat...if I chose the Maximize Feat also will the same spells be available to enhance or different ones (less/more))?

When you choose to "Empower" or "Maximize" a spell, you simply cause it to occupy a slot 2 or 3 levels (respectively) higher than it's base level. You can do this with any spell that you have access to.

So, for example, if you had 4 each of level 3, 5, and 6 Wizard slots, you could have 12 Fireballs ready: 4 normal (3), 4 Empowered (5), 4 Maximized (6).

Empowered spells have their stats 50% higher.

Maximized spells have their stat rolled maximum.

For example Normal Bulls Str increases Str 1d4+1.
Empowered would be 50% greater than 1d4+1
Maximized would be 4+1=5

and quickened is worthless if you have haste on so dont take it unless your sure you are not going to use haste items...

Jon, you know the latest stuff with mage duels on local servers?
They all, the good ones, use quickened, heh, if i knew how to use it before 3x, then id be kicking so much more ass

By the way, do you know if it not working with haste is a biobug or if its that in pnp too?

nope supposed to be quicked with haste *3 spells a round* from book as far as i can tell, another bioware fuckup...


and yeah i know everyone is using it on lv, i was using it before anyone had ever started using it, i just liked haste for the movement bonus, but i suppose thats not needed as you can set your speed to what you want with leto legitly....

Thing is, unless you use the "trick" you still only cast one quickened per round, which isnt as good as two normal hasted per round

WotC themselves didn't really think about quickened with haste in 3rd edition, that's why haste is one of the spells altered in DnD 3.5, it no longer gives you another spell per round, so you have to use quickened to get that additional spell

the "trick" eh? well i see what you mean, but with the trick now i can release 32 spells instantly anymore, and i can control it, ever seen what 32 meteor swarms do to a graphics card? *crash* LOLOLOL


but anyways, i always got off spells quicked as fast if not faster than with haste, and they cant be disrupted either
