I entered Eleriina, lagged out, got disconnected, next thing I know, I'm lost 4000 xp and reverted back to level 19.

Now, I don't mind this system being used. But having lag to kill me TWICE when I could not do anything is aggrevating to NO END.

I do remember telling you that before when you were 19 ( first time) and you said I know its no problem ......And what not understand is where in Elerina you lost XP??

heh here is what happens when you get disconnected......

Any orbs of pain out of a bag will do damage to you.(dont know why but they do)
I have died many times because of this.

I didn't think you meant that it's in the SCRIPT that I will lose a level.

I didn't have time to put my staff away, and the unity must have killed me.

Damnit the whole point of going to level 20 is that I can CONCENTRATE on RP and not do this anymore. Now my whole perception of what I am going to do has changed.

So you can lose level 20? Very interesting. Glad I haven't been wasting my time trying to get past 18!

And if you have any greater orbs of pain, it would be wise to chuck them with all the latency the server is experiencing lately.

The only thing I can do now is earn a coushion of 1850 xp above lvl 20, so that if I die, I can re-coushion it. That seems to be the best solution, but I don't know if I can earn XP at lvl 20 at all. Besides from DM.

Sounds like level 20 is more or less discouraged. If you get it back, I'd be curious to know if you still earn XP. Just curious... doubt I'll ever make it cause I just don't have the patience or the will to kill thousands more skellies.

I got it back, but didn't have time to test earning xp yet. I don't think lvl 20 is discouraged, but challenged. A bit too much, since getting there is hard enough.

Well I lost 4K xp, but I had 2k coushioned from RP and such, so I had only 2k to earn.

One thing about going back to lv 19 for 20....If you have an Item equiped that is lv 20 req (there are only a few of them...like the Axe of Culling) and you exit or the game crashes your char will be unusable. This happened to me once and it is a painfull experience. It can be fixed but the DM won't be happy (and until fixed you can't play that char). If you revert back to lv 19 immediatly unequip any lv 20 req items and exit to save.

Trust me on this.

Seems that there needs to be something done to auto-unequip any items that don't meet current level requirements if this happens. We're not the only mod that makes this happen sometimes. Don't know if that can be scripted, or if it's too deep-coded and thus can only be handled by BioScare.

I've never been fortunated enough to gain level 20, 18 is about the highest I'm willing to go...

I mean, 16 exp per skelly and you need like 25k (not entirely sure) from 18 to 19... No way, I just can't do that sorry

I think you just need 19K to get from 18 to 19... that's all.

Now if you count the extra needed to make up for dying, then 25K is probably about right, Nemor.

At 16 XP each... let's see... that's how many thousand skellies? Jeez... never mind.

You only need 18K to get from 18 to 19. It's your current level x 1000.

btw, Darkshadow just got to 19, so he's powergaming for the home stretch, so nobody kill him!!!

I just did a test and I can get XP from lvl 20. So I can get a safety coushion up.

13 xp, wow so just kill about 34-248045485794257235 billion and your safe for one death or so, then when two level 18's bring you down you can do it all over again

Maybe there should be a "Level 19 Club". Their Goal: to bring down the Level 20's to Their Level.
