Ok, this is a rant i suppose, but lets not turn it into a flame about "yo momma" and "your daddy"...To be honest i am indescribably fed up with the personal insults i have witnessed others received..i have only personally been into two verbal arguements, one will william over the psychology of Stigma, and one with Jon136 attitude towards us as we showed timestop is the stopping over time according to the game manuel. ..However as some topics have shown, shin2k for example that flaming personal insults is below the belt, for example "you prick" "you cocksucker" "you dickhead"...why? Is there a need. Yes you may be angry but venting anger through inappropriate slander is uncalled for...my advice to those who do it and have done, including me on one part is:
Think about it before you come to the boards, if you still want to flame about another make sure its in the right place..and dont get into personal insults in other board areas..for example the suggestions about timestop...
Personal insults in the end of the day are unnecessary, they hurt people, and for those who are sitting there saying they dont wash, ur lying to yourself because you still feel annoyed by the person publically miss mouthing you...so you reply your opinion, and the circle of "you twat" and "you fuck-up lamearse homosexual fag bending monkey humper" continues...
I think it causes IC problems also, if you see someone who has called "yo momma" something in the forum your gonna go pk him...because well its your momma, he then will call u a twat, get his friends on you...can u see the circle again...Please for god sakes, vent your anger at an issue over someone yes...but personal insults are not needed, they only fuel the fire of disaster...please.

Yes, personal insults shouldn't happen. But if you attack someone In-Game because of a personal insult, YOU are being the immature one, and you shouldn't do it. Keep IC and OOC seperate, or go away!!

Seriously, tho, good point. If someone is bugging you, ignore them (or kill them). If they insult you, ignore them (or kill them). Insulting them back just makes you look immature, too. Ignore or kill. This game is most fun when you play it like RL, right?
