Yeah Glorin!! Get to them about they releaseing a non-tested product! The stupid new patch that has more bugs thatn fixes! And they being asses overall!

Bioware has spoken about the issues on the new bug...

| Bioware should get some people to tell them it's bad judgement releasing an unfinished game and then having to apologize for screwing up with new bugs with each and every new patch they bring out.... |

| ok... i installed 1.25 and I read all this stuff afterwards.. i can't see Dyso on my list, so i suppose it's still 1.24... are you going to change it to 1.25? if so, WHEN? |

the Win32 server is at 1.25 for now, the linux bo will remain 1.24 until we are sure everything is good to go...win32 will be the guinnea pig box for those of you that want to test the new NWN patches...
Also, the MOD itself will remain at 1.24! I will not be updating my development box until I'm certain everything is fixed and all issues are resolved...looks like this update may be the last one until I return from California in 3 weeks...I will be in phone contact while on the road so I will have to get my news from Bri while I'm out.
Any issues while I'm away should be sent to BriHurley or Glith and they can help you with trivial issues...coding changes will NOT be bade while I'm away so don't bother the other admins with bugs and solutions...keep those in the forums for me to read when I return!

Gesh ... I have a question ... If Linux isn't being updated right away, does that mean that there will be a rift between the servers ... as in chars can only be used on one server and not the other ... or will they be usable on both depending on the version you have on our PC's?

Characters are uneffected so far that I know of but in order to jump you have to have a matching game version so unless you can down/upgrade between portaling between servers you won't have a problem

Well that would be a feat to add for my char ... Upgrade/Downgrade feat ... allows me to have whatever version I want when I want, lol.
ok, so If I have 1.24 I play on linux, and 1.25 I play on win32, oh joy, hehe.

| must be me but i don't get how i can log on to the chat. i went to the ign page, registered and it says something about finding the chatroom you want to connect to in the right box but there is no right box. There is a left box but no #Neverwinternight chatroom. There is no searchengine to find the right chatroom, only general categories that seems to get me nowhere... |

I typed in the URL chat1.ign.com, and then put #neverwinter in "enter another room" space. |

weird. I tried it again:
chat1.ign.com should bring up the 'conference room' screen.
Then I clicked 'Load chat client', which puts you in a lobby of sorts...you should then be able to type in "#neverwinter" in the 'enter another room area', and gain access to the chat.
Beyond that I don't know. Did you load the java chat client?

Well, it's a 1/2 hr into the chat session, and they've covered close to squat! Seems like the BioWare team is more into outdoing eachother with one-liners than dishing out useful info
