What I want is for them to fucking make it so you can weild a medium sized weapon (or small weapon if you are small) two-handed like you can in real D&D... jesus... wouldn't be that hard to do.
Screw the rest. Make that first, jeez..... _________________ KitsuneJin - Fox Person

Unfortunately, not all of us like to 'powergame.' If everyone took 'what kicked the most ass' then there would be no such thing as variety.

so why did you never use a single handed weapon in two hands then... or why did hardly anyone ever do it... (ive seen no one do it)
yes.. not all of *us* like to powergame.. but 90% of *us* do... and please dont go rambling on off-topic about me powergaming... if I take a sword and shield and not just a sword because theres a negligible bonus in taking just a sword and thats powergaming.... then im a powergamer. ok? good.

I actually *would* use a single-handed weapon two handed if I could. In such instances, they would be a Bastard Sword, Katana, Warhammer, and a couple more....

Because you *can't* is the problem. The game doesn't let you. At all! I think that they should add that before they start adding all this other crap....

But NWN **********does********* let you. The animation stays exactly the same except at the bottom it says "Weapon equiped as two-handed weapon" or something like that and your STR bonus is automatically enhanced 1.5x for calculating your attack bonus.
Unless someone drugged my cheese...

Oh? Then how do you do it? I've never seen it nor have I ever figured it out... and when you equip a LARGE weapon (one size category bigger than you) it automatically is two handed because it HAS to be. I'm talking about a weapon that is the SAME size category as you being weilded two handed (such as a human with a longsword, warhammer, rapier, scimitar, etc.) or a small person weilding a small weapon too handed (just as a halfling weilding a shortsword, a mace, etc). If this can be done, how the hell do you do it?

Bioware didnt include the two handed feat..
in its orignal form in D&D first edition. it mulitplied by 2 all weapons used as two handed that were in your size category, and increased the crit damage X1 size higher
meaning lets say a bastard sword would become a 2d10 -_- way over powered witha crit of x3. when being used by an elf, dwarf, human, half orc..... and so on and so on...... you get teh point
they changed that when thye made version 2..... so I never followed it again
But I can tell you a halfling with a kukri two handed was no laughing matter -_- |

Well first off a kukri is a tiny weapon, thus you could not use it two-handed. It either has to be the SAME size as you or one size larger in order to weild it in two hands. In 3rd ed D&D you don't have to have a feat. You can just DO it. The benefit is that you can deal 1.5X your STR modifier in damage. I want it for role play, but the only way you can do it is just to put it one-handed... then you have a worthless hand. No shield NOR extra damage... just a worthless hand. I can understand it with certain weapons, like a rapier wouldn't really make sense to weild two-handed, but you could.
Seriously though... they need to put it in.... _________________ KitsuneJin - Fox Person
